To match the year-on-year growth of global overseas orders, the brand-new intelligent warehouse & logistics center built by Mingnai Special Cable Co., Ltd. has been fully put into operation. It realizes integrated automatic warehousing, sorting, packaging and delivery management for six cable series: Drum Cable, Flat Reel Cable, High Voltage Cable, Bus Cable, Drag Chain Cable and Electrical Installation Wire. The overall order delivery efficiency of the company increased by 35%, greatly shortening the waiting cycle for global clients.
The new intelligent warehouse center is equipped with intelligent racks, automatic sorting robots and barcode traceability systems, storing all specification in-stock cables by zones and categories. A special heavy-duty storage area is set up for large-tonnage Drum Cable with mechanical lifting equipment to prevent sheath scratch damage caused by manual handling. Independent constant-temperature storage bins are arranged separately for Flat Reel Cable, Bus Cable, Drag Chain Cable, High Voltage Cable and Electrical Installation Wire, isolating moisture and dust to guarantee stable quality of delivered cables.
The logistics system supports one-click order sorting. Supporting test reports, CE & RoHS qualification documents and packing lists for overseas orders can be automatically matched and packed simultaneously. The shipment process which took 3 days by traditional manual sorting now only needs 8 hours via intelligent system, effectively cutting preparation time for sea and air freight orders. The warehouse manager introduced that massive stock of frequently purchased Drum Cable, Flat Reel Cable, High Voltage Cable, Bus Cable, Drag Chain Cable and Electrical Installation Wire is always available, and regular specifications can be packed and shipped within 48 hours.
A supporting cross-border logistics docking team was also established after this upgrade.
